Zelda Ann Pulliam, 74, of Harrisonville, MO died Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Visitation is 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Atkinson Chapel. Zelda was born February 7, 1935 in Adrian, MO the daughter of Thomas Harold and Ruth Winnonah (Lewis) Frazier. She graduated Archie High School in 1953. She was married to Richard L. Pulliam on June 17, 1955 in Archie, MO. She worked for IBM for 5 years until she decided to stay home and raise a family. She went back to work for the County Assessor as a computer operator, retiring in May of 1997. She was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, Preceptor Gamma Rho Chapter in Harrisonville, MO. She was a charter member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Harrisonville. She enjoyed sewing, reading and listening to music.
Zelda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Richard of the home; 3 children, Rebecca "Becky" Lowe and her husband Steve of Azle, TX, Lorrie Pulliam of Harrisonville and Richard "Doug" Pulliam of Liberty, MO; 3 brothers, T.H. Frazier and his wife Rachel of Kansas City, MO, Robert "Bob" Frazier and his wife Robin of Leawood, KS and Larry Frazier of Kingman, KS; 4 grandchildren, Justin and Nicholas Lowe and Madelynn and Thomas Pulliam; numerous nieces and nephews.
