Willie G. Rayburn, Jr., 53, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Funeral services were held  Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Interment in the Strasburg Cemetery, Strasburg, Missouri.

Willie was born on October 5, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri to Willie Gene Rayburn, Sr. and Gladys Oliver. Willie worked as a CNA for 14 years at Brown County Manor in Horton, Kansas. He lived in Strasburg from 2003 – 2012, but then relocated to Independence in 2012 until his passing. He married Debra Hendren on January 5, 2019. He had a love for many things, but really enjoyed video games, reading, music, a good cup of coffee, and going out driving. He will be remembered and missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one child; and one sibling. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; 16 children; 35 grandchildren; 12 siblings; and many extended family members.
