Obituary

William Brook "Wild Bill" Tadlock, 96, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 2 at Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee's Summit, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, Harrisonville, MO.

Bill was born November 1, 1915 in Bennington, OK, the son of Isaac Brook and Helen Jewel (Jones) Tadlock. He lived in the Kansas City, MO area before moving to Harrisonville where he had lived for the past 20 years.

Bill worked as a union sheetrock hanger, retiring in 1975 after 30 years. He was a member of the Local #1594 Painter's Union in Kansas City, MO. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Harrisonville. After retiring, Bill worked at Scavuzzo's and Price Chopper for 12 years.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, three wives, Hazel Maxine, Ida Mae and Carol Jean and one grandson. Before Bill's death, there were five generations of Tadlocks living. He is survived by one son, Billy Tadlock, Council Bluffs, IA; four daughters, Lynda Tadlock Nelson, Seattle, WA, Myra Campbell, Adrian, MO, Jenny Slayden, Sugar Creek, MO and Becky Tadlock, Butler, MO; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Dad leaves behind many who cherish and will keep his memory alive until the ends of time. Love never dies.
