William "Bill" Harold Hon, 89, Harrisonville, MO, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at St. Luke's East, Lee's  Summit, MO.  A Celebration of Life was held  Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Big Iron Town in Pleasant Hill, MO.  We will be celebrating with Bill's favorite things, BBQ, Busch Light and Merle Haggard; casual dress, and bring your favorite stories about ole Bill Hon.  Memorial contributions may be made to CASCO Area Workshop, Harrisonville.

Bill was born July 16, 1929 in Pleasant Hill, MO, a son of William Harris and Ella Frances (Raffurty) Hon.  He was a 1947 graduate of Archie High School.  He was a U. S. Navy Korean War Veteran and was a life member of the VFW Post 4409 in Harrisonville.  Bill was a lifelong Cass County resident.  Bill married Bonnie Dee Feeback on February 25, 1955 in Blairstown, MO.  Bill owned and operated W. H. Hon Construction Co. in Harrisonville.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Steve Hon, two sisters, Alice Whitsitt and Marian McKean, and one brother, Dale Hon.  He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of the home; one daughter, Sheila Zinn (Vic), Pleasant Hill, MO; daughter-in-law, Dianne Hon, LaTour, MO; three brothers, Robert "Bob" Hon (Charlotte), Richland, TX, Gene Hon, Harrisonville, MO, and Donald Hon, San Diego, CA; three sisters, JoAnn Johnson, Marilyn Nasalroad, and Linda Limpus (Ron), all of Harrisonville; 2 grandchildren, Derek Ezell (KayLa Marti), Duluth, GA, and Will Hon (Monica), Peculiar, MO, and 2 great-granddaughters, Brielle Hon and Keely Hon.
