William "Bill" Dale Miller, 89, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS. Funeral services were held  Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Bill was born December 25, 1933 in Harrisonville, MO, a son of William Smith and Lena May (Pennington) Miller. He was a lifelong resident of Harrisonville. He was a 1952 graduate of Harrisonville High School and was a U. S. Navy veteran. Bill was a mail clerk for the United States Post Office for 34 years before retiring. He had also worked for Marquette Men's Wear, the Brick Plant, and Nyman's Grocery Store. After retiring from the post office, Bill worked in the cafeteria at the Harrisonville Middle School. He was a member of the American Postal Workers Union and the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association. He was also a member of the First Christian Church in Harrisonville.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Jack and Jimmy Dan; two sisters: Bettie Miller and Jean Anderson. He is survived by one sister, Janie Miller, Harrisonville, MO, and many nieces and nephews.
