Warren Darnell, 67, of East Lynne, MO died Monday, October 24, 2011 at his home. Funeral Service 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011 at Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO with burial in Austin Cemetery, Archie, MO. Visitation 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Warren was born June 25, 1944 in Independence, MO to Frank and Alta Mae (Nichols) Darnell. He was united in marriage to Marie J. King on August 24, 1985 in Bartlesville, OK.

Warren and Marie moved to the Harrisonville area in 1999. Warren worked as a greeter at the Harrisonville Wal-Mart for over seven years. He was a member of Church on the Rock in Lee's Summit, MO.

Warren is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Kay Camden. He is survived by his wife, Marie, of the home; one son, Tony Darnell, who serves as a missionary to Africa; two sisters, Vickie Burton and her husband, Richard,of Harrisonville, MO and Debra Trogdon and her husband, Don, of Springfield, MO; and many friends from Wal-Mart and East Lynn, MO. He will be especially missed by his dog, Darbie.
