Wanda F. Minzes, 91, Kansas City, MO, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at her home. Funeral services were held Monday, June 19 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, MO. Wanda was born August 5, 1925 in Archie, MO, the daughter of C. and Cora Levoid (Burris) Stevens. She attended school at Westport and Paseo High School. Wanda married J. Carl Minzes on August 1, 1942 in Harrisonville, MO. She was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, MO. Wanda worked for Gay Gibson Dress Factory in Kansas City as a manager for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Kansas City.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J. Carl, one daughter, Sharon Darr, one sister, Lenora Thomas and one grandson, Christopher Minzes. She is survived by two sons, John Minzes, Lee's Summit, MO and Dennis Minzes, Independence, MO; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
