Joy Carney, 76, of Peculiar, Missouri, died Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville, MO.   She was born June 29, 1943 in Mansville, Oklahoma, a daughter of Issac  V. and Bertha Loretta (Runyan) Marsh.  She had lived in Lee's Summit, MO before moving to Peculiar.  Joy worked at the Harrisonville Walmart until her retirement.

She is survived by a son, Emmitt "Clay" Carney, Lake Annette, MO; two daughters, Belinda Gale Stamm, Texas, and Tara J. (Kenneth) Rynard, Peculiar; three  brothers, Thurston Eugene Marsh, Issac  V. Marsh  and Thurman R. Marsh; a sister, Wetta  P. Thomas;  nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Cremation with no services scheduled.  Inurnment in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
