Vonna Nadine (Moles) Smiley, 79, Woodstock, GA, formerly of Adrian, MO, died Thursday, January 29, 2009 at her home in Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at the Atkinson Chapel in Adrian, MO. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 2 at the chapel.

Vonna was born April 21, 1929 in Adrian, MO, the daughter of Otha Cyril and Mabel Lois (Addleman) Moles. She married Oren Thomas Smiley on December 30, 1971 in Commerce City, CO.

Vonna had worked as a quality control engineer in Louisville, CO, before retiring in 1983. She was a talented seamstress and made pottery and jewelry. She was a wonderful homemaker.

Vonna was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Glenna Twiford and two sisters, Shirley Smith and Gerry Scott. She is survived by her husband, Tom, of the home; two sons, W. Joe Foster, Fairview, TX and Alan W. Foster, Greenwood, MO; two daughters, Vicki A. Fleming and Linda D. Foster, both of Lahaina, HI; two brothers, Bob Moles, Adrian, MO and Ray Moles, Gerber, CA; four sisters, Melva Hogan, Olathe, KS, Faye Robinson, Booneville, MO, Wilda Nevel, Lexington, MO and Kate Barton, Tulsa, OK; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
