Vivian Lucille Moudy, 84, Adrian, MO, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Adrian Manor in Adrian, MO.  Graveside services were held  Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home, Adrian, MO.  A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, October 23, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Adrian.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the church.

Vivian was born October 15, 1934 in Austin, MO, a daughter of Frank G. and Gladys (Kenagy) Woods.  She was a   1952    graduate of Archie   High School and had received a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Master's degree in Library Science.  Vivian married J. Paul Moudy on July 8, 1955 in Archie, MO.  They made their home in Adrian.  Vivian was the librarian at Ballard School for four years, then worked for the Cass County Library System, retiring in 1995.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Adrian.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.  She is survived by her husband, Paul, of the home; two daughters, Lou Anne Crook (John), Raymore, MO and Nancy L. Schifferdecker (Mark), Belton, MO; one sister, Freda Durbin, Kansas City, MO; one brother, R. Deane Woods, Chicago, IL; two granddaughters, Natasha Rinehart (Jeremy), Belton, MO and Kelsey Stock (Jake), Blue Springs, MO, and one great-grandson, Alexander Rinehart, Belton.
