Obituary
Virginia Ruth Little, 84, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Monday, February 27, 2012 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. Friends may call from 11:00-12:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Wildlife Federation, Wayside Waifs Shelter or Harrisonville Animal Shelter.
Virginia was born January 7, 1928 in Wood River, Illinois, the daughter of Clay Uriah and Olive (Frazee) Comfort. She married James R. Little on August 12, 1949 in Harrisonville. Virginia taught school at the rural school in Harrisonville. She had also worked as an embroidery worker for the Grace Factory in Harrisonville. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Harrisonville. She loved cats and birds and animals.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Jim, of the home; three sons, Clay Little, Harrisonville, MO, Kent Little, Clinton, MO and Bruce Little, Harrisonville, MO; two daughters, Jennifer Shaw, Harrisonville, MO and Elizabeth Walker, St. Charles, MO and one granddaughter, Jessica Shaw.
