Virginia Louise Daniels, 75, Harrisonville, MO, departed this life Monday, August 13, 2007 at her home. Funeral mass 10:30 AM Thursday, August 16 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville with Rosary service at 10:00 AM. Prayer service 2:00 PM Friday, August 17 at Mary Immaculate Church, Gallatin, MO. Inurnment in Brown Cemetery, Gallatin. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Virginia Daniels at Allen Bank & Trust, 100 East Pearl, Harrisonville, MO 64701.
Virginia was born August 3, 1932 in Montrose, MO, the daughter of Frederick Peter and Grace Marie (Kramer) Hueser. She was married to Robert "Bob" J. Daniels on August 29, 1950 for 22 years. To this union eight children were born, Joyce Elaine, Jayne Elizabeth, Jeanine Edith, Joan Eleanor, Jack Earl, James Eric, Jerrold Elton and Jay Edd.
Virginia lived her life for her family, her faith, her career, many friends and her pets. She was employed by Green Hills Community Action Agency for 38 years in Gallatin and Trenton, MO. She served on the board of many volunteer agencies in Daviess County and Grundy County. Virginia was very active in the church, Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Gallatin, St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Trenton and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville.
Virginia is survived by four daughters, Joyce Marley and husband, Jim, Jayne Neal, Jeanine Minturn, Joan Brown, all of Harrisonville, MO; three sons, Jack Daniels, Harrisonville, MO, Jim Daniels and wife, Debbie, Wright City, MO and Jerrold Daniels, Kansas City, MO; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Geneva Thomas and husband, Dub, Bonham, TX; one brother, Harold Hueser, Kansas City, MO; many nieces and nephews and her special family Angie and Jeff Zimmerman and family, Jefferson City, MO and Harry Basnight, Harrisonville, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Grace Hueser, one brother, Robert "Bobby" Hueser, one son, Jay Edd and daughter-in-law, Debbie Daniels.
