Vincent Jacob Allen Farr, "Jake", 35, Independence, MO, died Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.

Jake was born October 1, 1981 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Vincent Shane and Marsha Ann (Runyon) Farr. He was a 2000 graduate of Fruitland Idaho High School.


Jake was a contractor in residential construction and had lived in Millersburg, Indiana, Fruitland, Idaho, Harrisonville and Adrian, MO and the Kansas City, MO area.

Jake is survived by his parents, Shane and Marsha Farr, Ocala, FL; his long-time partner, Cristin "C. J." Bass, Independence, MO and her daughter, Bella; one son, Noah Barker, Higginsville, MO; two daughters, Courtney Lee Farr, Ocala, FL and Skyer Delynn Farr, Peculiar, MO; two sisters, Jessica Farr, Chicago, IL and Tausha Elliott, Independence, MO; maternal grandparents, Allen and Joyce Runyon, Adrian, MO, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
