Victoria "Vickie" Louise Quick, 66, Cole Camp, MO, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at the University Hospital in Columbia, MO. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Vickie was born May 5, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Ray and Gertrude (Highfill) Kamphefner. She married George William Parker on January 26, 1974 in Concordia, MO. They were married for 26 years before his death in 2000. She worked as a CMT for nursing homes. Vickie loved to sing, play the guitar, play cards and was an excellent cook. She married Rodney Quick on June 21, 2014.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, George W. Parker, Sr. on March 21, 2000, and one son, James M. Parker, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Rodney, of the home; one son, George B. Parker, Greenwood, MO; one daughter, Bessa Manning, Greenwood, MO; two stepchildren, George W. Parker, Jr. (Brandie), Oak Grove, MO and Helen "Chris" Gilchrist (Tom), Grain Valley, MO; one brother, Thomas "Tom" Kamphefner (Karla), Cole Camp, MO; and her beloved dog, Rusty. Vickie is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Kasey Parker, Jessica Parker, James M. Parker, Jr., Taylor Smith (Nick), Jakki Parker, and Braycen Manning; 7 great-grandchildren, Kayden, Kylie, Nylea, James, Kynzlee, Jayse, and Kamryn; 7 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
