Vernon Weston Miller, II, 45, Peculiar, MO, died Monday, May 28, 2012 in Cass County, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, MO. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 1 at the Atkinson Chapel.

Vernon was born November 9, 1966 in Olathe, KS, the son of Vernon Weston and Mary Jean (Raynes) Miller. He married Alana Kim Irvin on July 15, 1995 in the Bridal Caves in Camdenton, MO.

Vernon worked for Barry Wright Construction in Peculiar, MO as a flat bed truck driver. He was a member of the Cass County Elks Lodge in Harrisonville. He was an organ donor.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kim, of the home; one son, Austin Miller, of the home; one daughter, Amber Giddens, Freeman, MO; one sister, Melinda Belcher and her husband, Tim, Shawnee, KS and four nieces, Madison Malone, Maryana Malone, Destiny Irvin and Courtney Irvin.
