Obituary
Vernon Leroy Hosmann, 64, Clinton, Missouri, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Vern was born September 14, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri to Emory N. and Mary E. (Moore) Hosmann. He worked for the Burlington and Union Pacific Railroads. After retiring from the railroad, Vern bartended for several concerts in the Kansas City area and at the Chiefs and Royals Stadiums.
Vern was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Hosmann. He is survived by three sons, Matt Hosmann, Mark Hosmann and Adam (Stephanie) Hosmann; one grandson, Ty Hosmann; and one brother, Mel (Jan) Hosmann.
