Obituary
Verna Ruth Dunn, 62, Peculiar, Missouri, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at her home. Services will be 2:00 p.m Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Stoklasa Memorial Chapel in Cainsville, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 4 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. Burial in Bethel Cemetery in Mercer County, Missouri.
Ruth was born December 26, 1952 in Princeton, Mo to James F. and Wilma Imogene (Smith) Frisbie. On August 29, 1976 she married Gary L. Dunn in Cainsville, Mo. She and Gary moved to Peculiar in 1985.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived her husband, Gary, of the home; four children, Elsie May Oritz (Paul), of Topeka, Ks, Jennifer Holcomb (Warren) of Lee's Summit, Mo, James Dunn (Gayle) of Peculiar, Mo and Kimberly Gregory (Michael) of Peculiar, Mo; and six grandchildren, David, Joshua, Jayden, Donald, Riley and Jackson.
