Vera M. Winkler, 55, of Harrisonville, MO died Friday, June 25, 2010 at her home. Memorial Services 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Grace Baptist Church, 500 E. Pearl, Harrisonville, MO.

Vera was born September 26, 1954 in Kansas City, KS to Eugene L. and Joy E. (Blomquist) McGinnis. She worked as Dietary Aide at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. Vera was an amazing cook and a dedicated mother. She was a close friend to many.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Daniel McGinnis. She is survived by one son, E. Frank McCoy V and his wife, Hannah, of Harrisonville, MO; four daughters, Elizabeth McCoy of Harrisonville, MO, Kristina Miles and her husband, Nicholas, of Belton, MO, Erin Perkins of Harrisonville, MO, and Kamela Perkins of Rawlins, WY; one brother, Steve McGinnis of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Annette Rude and her husband, Rocky, of Kansas City, KS and Judith Muller of Raymore; four grandchildren, J. Alexander McCoy, Hero A. McCoy, Emily Gelsleichter and Rylee Perkins; three nephews, Christopher Muller, M. Jeffrey Muller and James Rude; four nieces, Kristen McGinnis, Vicky McGinnis, Marielle McGinnis and Danielle McGinnis.
