Tracy Rugg, 88, Adrian, Missouri, died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Adrian Manor, Adrian, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Adrian Christian Church in Adrian. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemeterey in Adrian. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian. Masonic services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Tracy was born July 25, 1924 in Kiowa, Kansas, the son of Oscar Dale and Lyla (Foster) Rugg. He lived in Kiowa until moving to Adrian in 1954. Tracy was a WWII Navy veteran. He married Betty Lukens on January 10, 1947.

Tracy was a farmer his entire life, retiring in 1992. He was a charter member of the Adrian Optimist Club and was the club's 2nd president. He was a 50-year member and past Master of the Crescent Hill Masonic Lodge. He was in Eastern Star in Adrian and he was a Methodist.

Tracy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty. He is survived by two sons, Mitch Rugg and Joseph "Jay" Rugg and his wife, Janace, all of Adrian, Missouri; one daughter, Kelly Stark, Butler, Missouri; 8 grandchildren, Kori Page (Harley), Butler, Missouri, Adam Moles (Amy), Raymore, Missouri, Megan Rainey, Adrian, Evan Rugg (Cindy) Fresno, California, Traci Rugg, Sami Rugg, Jason Rugg and Jacob Rugg, all of Adrian, Missouri; and 9 great-grandchildren.
