Toni Lynne (Scavuzzo) Welborn, 66, Raymore, MO, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Monday, June 20, 2011 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at the chapel, with a brief memorial service at 6:00. Toni Lynne was born September 7, 1944 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Paul Anthony and Betty C. (Russell) Scavuzzo. She was a 1962 graduate of Harrisonville High School and was a lifelong Harrisonville resident. She had moved to Raymore in 2005.

She worked at Assurant Benefits in Kansas City, MO for 17 years and was actively involved in the Scavuzzo family business. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Harrisonville. Toni Lynne was an avid NASCAR and IndyCar fan.

She is survived by one son, James A. Welborn, Smithville, MO; one brother, David Scavuzzo and his wife, Candi, Harrisonville, MO. Other relatives include Nick Scavuzzo and wife, Vanessa and family, Raymore, MO; Rico Scavuzzo and wife, Gentry and family, Lee's Summit, MO; Jason Brink and wife, Sabrina and family, Lee's Summit, MO and Cassie Walker, Chicago, IL.
