Tommie Kay McMillin, 61, Harrisonville, MO, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services 11:00 AM Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM Friday at the chapel. Burial in Louisburg Cemetery, Louisburg, KS.
Kay was born May 31, 1946 in Muskogee, OK, the daughter of Floyd Thomas and Dixie Beatrice (Sanders) McGinness. She lived in Kansas City, MO before moving to Harrisonville seven years ago. She worked for the Belton School District in food service.
Kay was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, Dixie Pettit, Harrisonville, MO; one son, Shawn Curry, MO; two daughters, Kellie Weaver, Merriam, KS and Dawn Miller, Belton, MO; one brother, Michael Pettit, Hemet, CA and six grandchildren.
