Timothy Alan Phifer, 73, of Freeman, MO, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at his home. Memorial services were held  on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville, MO.

Tim was born October 21, 1950 to Paul Eugene and Thelma Ann (Orten) Phifer in Benkelman, NE. He had lived in Ft. Collins, Colorado and was a 1969 graduate of Poudre High School in Ft. Collins. Tim was united in marriage to Sandra Klaus on December 29, 1982 in Ft. Collins. They have lived in Cass County, MO since 1987. Tim worked for Sears, Western Auto, and Advance Auto Parts, full and part time, and worked for the Shawnee Mission, Kansas School District IT Department for 18 years. Tim was a very active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents and his step-daughter, Kristian Klaus. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Phifer, of the home; his step-sons: Patrick Klaus of Freeman, MO; and Brian Klaus of Roseburg, OR; his brothers: Steven Craig (Ramsey) Phifer of Newburgh, IN; and Anthony "Tony" Dean (Kathy) Phifer of Ft. Collins, CO; his twin sister, Terri Haas of LaPorte, CO; his sister, Paula Ann Phifer, of Greeley, CO; 4 grandchildren: Jeff Klaus, Courtney Gregg, Josh Klaus, and Kelsey Klaus; and 2 great-grandchildren: Alexis Kalinka and Tristan Howard.
