Timothy James Flanner, 49, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his home.  Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 28 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with visitation from 6:00-7:30.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association or the M.S. Foundation.

Tim was born October 18, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Walter James and Maxine (Allen) Flanner, Jr. The family moved to Harrisonville in July, 1970, where Tim attended school, first grade through high school, graduating in 1982. Tim excelled in art and music.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter. He is survived by two daughters, Megan Allen and Jessica Stark; his mother, Maxine Flanner; two sisters, Maureen Flanner and Molly Fordyce (Dean); two brothers, Dan Flanner and Patrick Flanner; one granddaughter, Arianna Allen, two aunts, Marge Roseblock and Suzanne Fisch, and many nieces and nephews.
