Thomas Gregory Cook, 61, of Harrisonville, MO passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at his home. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.,m. Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Atkinson Chapel with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Raytown. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Atkinson Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Ministry at The Way of Christ Church, 160 W. 2nd, Peculiar, MO 64078.

Thomas was born September 30, 1948 in Kansas City, MO. the son of Thomas "Joe" and Elizabeth "Betty" (Koel) Cook. He graduated Southwest High School in Kansas City, MO in 1967. He was an Eagle Scout.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dennis E. Cook. He is survived by one son, Joseph A. Cook of Kansas City, KS; two daughters, Kimberly Catron and her husband William of Harrisonville, MO and Ashley Carver and her husband (Jonathan) of Belton, MO; one brother, James W. Cook and his wife Joni of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Janet "Cookie" Cook of Kansas City, MO; 2 grandchildren, Ryan M. Catron and Caitlin M. Lane; numerous nieces and nephews.
