Terry Eugene Lofstrom, 75 of Belton, MO, died Thursday, October 14, 2010 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Raymore Christian Church, Raymore, MO with visitation at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Cremation.
Terry was born February 10, 1935 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Eugene and Dorothy (Benton) Lofstrom. Terry was a U. S. Army veteran with the 101st Airborne. He was a dump truck driver and diesel mechanic and owned and operated T&D Trucking. He worked for Middlewest Freightways and retired from BMAC in 1992.
Terry had lived in the Belton area since 1962. He was a member of the Belton American Legion. He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Terry R. Lofstrom. He is survived by his wife, Helen Darlene Lofstrom, of the home; one son, David E. Lofstrom and wife, Kathy, Gove, KS; two daughters, Sherry Lewis, Akron, OH and Crystal Hibdon, Belton, MO; two sisters, Delores Hollenbeck and husband, Don and Sally Lofstrom, all of Shell Knob, MO; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
