Terry "Spec" Lee Brewster, 67, Rich Hill, Missouri, died Saturday, August 30, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Burial will be in Freeman Cemetery in Freeman, Missouri.

Terry was born January 27, 1947 in Freeman, Missouri, the son of Robert L. and Naomi (Bunger) Brewster. He was a lifelong resident of Cass County, Missouri until moving to Rich Hill in 1997. He attended Harrisonville High School where he excelled in football. Terry married Janice Lee Todd on July 5, 1965.

He worked for McKee Quarries for many years. He retired from Local #541 in 1997 and from Local #101 in 2011. Terry was a hard worker all his life. He loved to hunt turkey, deer and coyote. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Peculiar, Missouri.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, his wife, Janice on May 31, 2014 and a daughter, Sherry Snead. He is survived by one son, Mike Brewster, Rich Hill, Missouri; one daughter, Rebecca Jones (Clay), Rich Hill, Missouri; his mother, Naomi "Tiny" Burton of Harrisonville, Missouri; one brother, Hershel Evans, Springville, Utah; two sisters, Robin Kirk, Creighton, Missouri and Debbie Gilbert, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; 7 grandchildren, John Snead, Daryl Snead, Jenny Snead, Brandon Brewster, Dalton Brewster, Zeth Jones and Vincent Jones; and 7 great-grandchildren, Iris, Lucas, Tristian, Ray Anne, Keith, Dylan and Hunter. Terry was related to half of Cass County and had many friends and family.
