Terry Lee Bohannon, 75, of Adrian, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, MO. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Interment in Clearfork Cemetery, Garden City, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Adrian Lion's Club.

Born on April 20, 1949, in Harrisonville, MO, to Leslie William Francis Bohannon and Cleo Mabel (DeLance) Bohannon; he grew up in Cass County, but eventually made his home in Adrian, MO, after moving there in 2003. He was a dedicated carpenter whose skilled hands helped build numerous homes, leaving a lasting mark in the residential construction industry throughout his life.

Terry's life was enriched by the love of his wife, Shirley Marie Green, whom he married on November 13, 1992, in Freeman, MO, at Rev. Joe Brewster's home. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home for their family. He was a proud father but especially cherished his role as a grandfather to 14 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 13 great-grandchildren, finding immeasurable joy in their laughter and milestones. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, often taking on the role of the Easter Bunny during the Adrian Lions Club Easter Egg hunts and providing a photo opportunity with the children.

In addition to his family, Terry was actively involved in his community as a member of the Adrian Lions Club, where he made many friendships. He had a profound love for horses, a green thumb for gardening, and a special fondness for mowing, which brought him tranquility and satisfaction. Terry will be remembered not just for his skilled craftsmanship but for the love he showered upon his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering support.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Francis Bohannon and Dick Bohannon; his sister, Dorothy Aurand; his daughter, Cindy Chamberlain; and his son, Sean Smith. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Bohannon, of the home; his sons: Shannon Bohannon (Crissy), Matthew Smith (Amy), and Shea Smith (Elizabeth), all of Adrian, MO; and Adam Craig of Belgrade, Montana; his daughters: LaTeresa Bohannon of Gulfport, Florida; and Teresa Craig of Garden City, MO; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
