Teddy "Ted" Lee Pruden Jr., 74, of Gonzales, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. A visitation was held  Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian, Missouri with a graveside and interment at the Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian,MO.

Ted was born January 20, 1951, to Teddy Lee Pruden Sr. and Dorothy Belle (Laughery at the) Pruden in Borger, TX. Ted grew up in Missouri. He graduated from Ruskin High School located in Kansas City. Ted was always good with numbers. His career started at Washington Inventory Service and then finished at Target. He was a big sports fan and continued his love for the Kansas City Chiefs even after moving to Texas. If he wasn't watching a game, you'd often find him reading a classic western, which was his favorite.

Ted is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Paula Pruden. He is survived by his son, Matthew (Jennifer) Pruden of Cedar Rapids, IA; daughter, Lauren (J. Michael) Sharon of Cedar Rapids, IA; and 6 grandchildren.
