Tamara Lynn Knox, 61, of Harrisonville, MO, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the  Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.  Interment  in Oakland Cemetery in Harrisonville, MO.

Tamara was born February 7, 1962 to Terry Brownlow and Patty Zeller in Kenosha, WI. She lived in Harrisonville most of her life. Tamara was united in marriage to Sammy Knox on April 16, 1981 at the First Baptist Church in Peculiar, MO. Tamara worked at House of Lloyd in Grandview, MO, in customer service for a number of years. She loved taking care of the grandchildren and going to all of their sporting events.

Tamara is preceded in death by her mother, Patty Zeller Wright, and her grandparents, Arlo and Tressie Zeller. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Sam Knox; her daughter, Cijie (Michael) Grah, Garden City, MO; her son, Jason (Maggie) Knox, Pleasanton, Kansas; her brother, Tony Wright, Peculiar, MO; 7 grandchildren: Kylie (fiancé, Carter Bowman) Knox, Samara Knox, Kyla Green, Emmaleigh Palazzo, Layla Knox, Lucas Grah, and Brantley Grah; and 2 great-grandchildren: Emersyn Green and Mathieu Green.
