Steven Lee Osburn, 69, of Harrisonville, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. To honor Steven's life, a memorial service was held at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville on Saturday, April 26, 2025.  Memorial contributions are suggested to American Legion #42.

Steve was born on December 28, 1955, in Harrisonville, MO, to Forest Lyle and Donna Louise (Easley) Osburn. A proud graduate of Harrisonville High School with the Class of 1974. Steve found fulfillment in his career in maintenance at American Ingredients, where he spent many years contributing to the food packaging industry. His dedication to his work was only rivaled by his passion for the great outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or enjoying float trips, Steven cherished the beauty of nature and the joy of spending time with loved ones in its embrace.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers: Forest Lyle (Cindy) Osburn of Raymore, MO; and Jeff Osburn of Warsaw, MO; his sister, Becky (Lee) Darling of Harrisonville, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
