Steven "Cody" Hodge, 61, Plainfield, IL, formerly of Macks Creek, MO died Monday, July 19, 2010 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice House in Joliet, IL. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with visitation from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, MO. Cody was born January 16, 1949 in Lebanon, MO to Henry John and Mary Irene (Green) Hodge. He worked as a plant manager for Essex Wire & Cable. He was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.


He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his son, Chad Hodge of Merriam, KS; his daughter, Melanie Glannon and her husband, Kevin, of Plainfield, IL; his mother, Mary Hodge, of Camdenton, MO; two brothers Kenneth Hodge of Macks Creek, MO and John Hodge and his wife, Gina, of Camdenton, MO; three sisters, Dinah Alfaro of Columbia, MO, Shirley Hanneman and her husband, Mike, of Raymore, MO and Linda Townsend and her husband, Edgar, of Clinton, MO; and two granddaughters, Brett and Erin Glannon.
