Steven Buckley "Buck" Linder, 59, Belton, MO, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at his home. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.

Buck was born September 5, 1957 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Clifford G. and Mary J. (Flahive) Linder. He was a 1975 graduate of Cass Midway High School. Steve was a U. S. Marines veteran, serving from May 30, 1975 – July 11, 1979. Buck worked for the United States Post Office as a mail carrier in Harrisonville and Belton before retiring in 2009. He loved fishing, playing cards, playing Keno and spending time with family and friends.

Buck was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Linder and Mary McCollum. He is survived by one son, Preston Linder (Megan), Holden, MO; his fiancée, Kelly Elliott; Kelly's children, Corinne Elliott, Pleasant Hill, MO, Benjamin Cunningham (Kim), Lee's Summit, MO and Daniel Elliott, Pleasant Hill, MO; two brothers, Clifford Linder, Jr. (Sandra), Harrisonville, MO and Shawn McCollum (Andria), Lee's Summit, MO; three sisters, Mary Dell Looney (Lynn), Easton, KS, Betsy Stone (Billy), Holden, MO and Terri Garner (Alan), Laramie, WY; and grandchildren, Tasia, Hunter, and Zachary Linder, Adyson Elliott,
Sloan and Quinn Cunningham.
