Stanley Etter, 55, Belton, Missouri, died Friday, January 15, 2016 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. Missouri. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri with visitation from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Stanley was born July 29, 1960 in Roanoke, Virginia, the son of Stanley and Melva (Ellis) Etter. He worked as a painter and had owned his own painting business until retiring.

Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Kathy Etter and Edith (Etter) Downing. He is survived by one daughter, Chera Jackson, Belton, Missouri; three sons, Stanley "Jason" Etter, Jesse Etter, and Cody Etter, all of Belton, Missouri; one sister, Becky Gardner, Raymore, Missouri; two brothers, Chuck Ellis, of Virginia; Russell Etter, Kansas City, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, Gerry Jackson, Katelyn Jackson, Malachi Etter, Brayden Taylor, Derrick Ruffino, and Elijah Ruffino; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
