Sonja Lynette Davis, 73, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at her home. Services were held Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Sonja. 

Born on May 6, 1953, in Stockton, California, she later moved with her family to Missouri, where she graduated from Blue Springs, MO, High School in the Class of 1971. Sonja was a dedicated worker who spent 15 years employed at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. She was known throughout her life for her strong work ethic, her warmth, her dedication to her family, and the kindness she extended to everyone in her community. She spent her life creating a welcoming home, cultivating deep friendships, and leaving behind a legacy of love and strength.

She is survived by her devoted children: her son, Brian Davis, and his wife, Angie; and her daughter, Kellie Williams, and her partner, Christopher Clevenger. She was a cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Calvin Davis, and his wife, Lisa, of CA; her sister, Shawna Davis, and her partner, Cindy, of Blue Springs, MO; along with a host of extended family members, neighbors, and dear friends.

Sonja was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Walter C. Davis and Lila Helen Davis; as well as, her two brothers, Terry Davis, and his wife, Tina; and Lloyd Davis and his wife, Judi.
