Shirley Jean Osborn, 83, Archie, MO, died Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Adrian Manor, Adrian, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Archie. Burial in Everett Cemetery, Archie. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24 at the church. Contributions to the First Baptist Church, Archie, MO.

Shirley was born June 5, 1934 in Harrisonville, MO, the only child of Floyd and Orma (Shipley) Stevens. She attended Everett Grade School #79 from 1940-1948 and graduated from Archie High School in 1952. She was a lifelong Archie, MO area resident. Shirley was united in marriage to Frank L. Osborn, February 6, 1953 by Rev. Ernest White at the First Baptist Church parsonage in Archie. She was employed by Hallmark Cards immediately after high school, and later worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 15 years (1971-1986). She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Archie for over 50 years and also worked with the church day care for many years.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Frank, on November 11, 2016. She is survived by three sons, Steve L. Osborn (Pam), Harrisonville, MO, Mark L. Osborn (Junior Montelongo), San Antonio, TX, and J. D. Osborn (Michelle), Rogers, AR; a daughter, Suzanne Osborn, Ft. Worth, TX; three grandsons, Justin, Joel, and Kaleb Osborn, and seven great-grandchildren.
