Shirley Anne Boucher, 75, of Archie, MO passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville, MO. Memorial services were held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. Inurnment  at the Freeman Cemetery,  Freeman, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Adrian Optimist Club.

Shirley was born February 14, 1947 in Harrisonville, Missouri, a daughter of Morris Sid and Virginia May (Adams) Atkinson. She lived in Harrisonville and Archie most of her life, except for a few years when they lived in Kansas City so her dad could be closer to work. Shirley was a 1965 graduate of Paseo High School in Kansas City. She was united in marriage to Dennis Earl Boucher on May 14, 1966 at the Everett, Missouri Community Church, the same church where she was saved and baptized. Shirley was always active, and besides being a mother and homemaker, she had worked at the Harrisonville Ben Franklin Store, the Onion Ring Factory in Archie, Bass Busters in Amsterdam, MO, and Creative Home Collections in Raymore, MO.

Shirley enjoyed bowling at Adrian and Harrisonville, she played in two leagues and traveled to 23 states to play in bowling tournaments. She was a very active crocheter and made many blankets for Project Linus, she loved sewing, cake decorating, craft shows, lake trips with the family, bingo, her Kindle, playing cards, and reading. She was a charter member of the Archie Optimist Club.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister; her brother, Lyle Atkinson; a grandson, Michael Staudinger; and a son-in-law, Jimmy Jacks. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Boucher, Archie, MO; two daughters: Lisa Jacks, Archie, MO; and Denise Staudinger, Belton, MO; a son, Doug Boucher, Archie, MO; four grandsons: Ryan Jacks (Brittany), Archie, MO; Austin Jacks (Carsyn), St. Joseph, MO; Zane Jacks, Harrisonville, MO; and Sean Staudinger, Belton, MO; and many other relatives and friends.
