Sheila Kathleen Noell, 59, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at her home. Funeral services were  held  Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Interment  in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Croix Hospice.

Sheila was born on October 14, 1964, in Wichita, Kansas, to James and Lydia (Eckhoff) Lakin. She grew up in Garden City, MO, Harrisonville, MO and married Gene Noell on June 6, 1987 in Garden City, MO. They moved to Harrisonville, MO, where they made their home for the next 40 years.

Sheila dedicated her life to the healthcare industry, working as a Registered Nurse for St. Croix Hospice since 2022, touching the lives of many with her compassionate care. Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2013, Sheila's commitment to her profession was evident in every patient she tended to. Sheila will be deeply missed and remembered for her kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and community.

Sheila is preceded in death by her sisters-in-law, Valeta Baxter and Judy Fligg. She is survived by her loving spouse, Gene Noell; her children: Garrett (Nicole) Noell and George Noell; her grandchildren: Rucker, Wyatt, Charlotte, and Quinn Noell; her parents, James and Lydia Lakin; her brother, Tony Lakin; her sister, Janell (Craig) Doll; her sister-in-law, Gloria Allen; and nieces and nephew: Destiny Lakin, Jason Doll, Melissa Whitworth, and Amy Cox.
