Sharlyn Rae Ann Durham, 80, of Harrisonville, MO, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Crown Care Center. A Celebration of Sherry's Life was held  December 16, 2022 at the South Haven Baptist Church, 16800 Bel-Ray Blvd, Belton MO 64012.

Sherry was born December 27, 1941 in Spencer, Iowa, a daughter of Raymond A. and Bernice J. (Dirksen) Wolf, now deceased. Sherry was married to Larry Lee Durham on May 4, 1963, and to this union, two sons were born, Christoper Lee Durham of Grass Valley, California, and Dale Raymond Durham of Wenden, Arizona.

Sherry graduated from High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1959 and moved to Kansas City in 1960. She worked for numerous companies including Vernon Law Book Company, Southwest Baptist College, the Sertoma Foundation, American United Life and Shook, Hardy & Bacon law firm. She also sold insurance, real estate and had her own day trip business. Her motto was "See It all with Sherry" and she truly tried to see all of the United States and Canada when she retired. She was happiest when traveling and loved adventure. At the age of 20, she took a European bike tour through 7 countries.

She remembered being saved when she was 10 or 11 and had attended summer bible school. She remembered singing "It is no Secret what God can Do" and swinging in the backyard. She was baptized at age 30 at Stockton Christian Church in Stockton, MO, and was member at the church at that time.

Sherry is survived by her two sons; her two daughter-in-laws: Lisa Durham and Aja Durham; and her granddaughters, Allison and Caitlin.

She was so happy to have her friends and best friend, Lela Greenwood, she will be fondly remembered.
