Sandra "Sandy" Lee Flanders, 61, Branson, Missouri, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 in Harrisonville, Missouri. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 Northwest Murray Road, Lee's Summit, MO 64108, with visitation from 9:30-10:30. A reception will follow the service at 11:30 at the church.
Sandy was born June 8, 1953 in Lawrence, Kansas, the daughter of Joe Kenneth and Lois Maxine (Lingo) Parks. She grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas and was a graduate of Leavenworth High School. She had lived in Lee's Summit and the Kansas City, Missouri area before moving to Branson nine years ago. She married Daniel Lee Flanders on April 26, 1991 in Miami, Oklahoma. Sandy and Dan owned and managed the Green Mountain Inn in Branson, Missouri. She was a Catholic.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ronnie Parks, and a stepson, Judd Flanders. She is survived by her husband, Daniel, Branson, Missouri; one son, Michael Payne (Laura Acton), Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; one daughter, Lori Camacho (Arnulfo), Moundville, Missouri; one sister, Shirley Lynn (Eddie), Harrisonville, Missouri; her mother-in-law, Rita Flanders, two brothers-in-law, David Flanders and Steven Flanders and two sisters-in-law, Theresa Flanders and Diane Williamson (Mike), all of Lee's Summit; three grandchildren, Austen Payne (Chelsea), Anthony Franco and Milar Payne and one great-grandchild, Houston Payne.
