Sandra Lou Mauldin, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the age of 78. Per her wishes, no services are scheduled at this time.
Born on March 9, 1947, in Harrisonville, Missouri, a daughter of James "Red" and Helen (Schoonover) Procter, Sandra's journey began in a small town where she graduated from Harrisonville High School with the Class of 1965. Her roots in Harrisonville shaped her values, love for family, and passion for nurturing life around her.
In 1977, Sandra made the move to Blairstown, MO, where she devoted her life to her family as a homemaker and embraced the joy of raising her children. Sandra found purpose and happiness in every moment spent caring for her family, and her legacy lives on through her family.
A passionate lover of animals, Sandra had a special affection for chihuahuas, whom she raised with care and devotion. They were not just pets to her; they were cherished companions who brightened her days and filled her home with love.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Roger Dewaine. She is survived by her son, Roger (Lisa) Peek, Jr. of Peculiar, MO; her daughters: Tammy (Bob) Peek of Blairstown, MO; and Tara (Mike) Mesa of Lavista, Nebraska; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
