Sammy "Sam" Calvin Peek, 80, of Adrian, MO, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at his home. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.  Burial in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, Missouri.

Sam was born on February 21, 1943 to Albert Levi and Naomi M. (Winchel) Peek in Peculiar, MO. He graduated from Peculiar High School. He met the love of his life, Connie L. Parker, and they were united in marriage on October 28, 1962 in Eads, CO. He spent his career working as a farmer; although, he also had a mowing business and spent some time as a truck driver throughout the years as well.

Sam is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Connie; his son, Stacy Peek; his grandson, Joshua Peek; his brothers: Otis, Bill, Lee, and Everett Peek; and his sisters: Betty Hannah and Virginia Bailey. He is survived by his sons: Sammy (Rita) Peek, Jr. and Troy (Kriss) Peek; his grandchildren: Cortnie (Cory) Sanders, Jacob (Jana) Peek, Kaycee Peek, and Zackary Peek; his step-grandchildren: Cassie Lillig, Chelsea Lillig, and Shelby Lillig; great-grandchildren: Travis Sanders, Keaton Sanders, Jayden Peek, Jackson Peek, and Teagan Peek; 4 step-great-grandchildren; his sisters: Dorothy Burch and Cathryn Saville; and his brother, Richard Peek.
