Obituary
Samantha Ann Schaffner, 40, Hastings, Nebraska, died November 18, 2013 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri with visitation from 1:00-2:00.
Samantha was born September 9, 1973 in Harrisonville, Missouri the daughter of Terry Lee and Kathryn Arlene (Frye) Schaffner, Sr. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and was a graduate of Ruskin High School in Kansas City. She had lived in Hastings, Nebraska for the past eight months. Samantha liked to draw and enjoyed crafts of all kinds.
She is survived by her father, Terry Schaffner, Sr., Grain Valley, Missouri; her mother, Kathy Kurtz, Vernal, Utah; one daughter, Mariah Joelee Powell of Missouri; one brother, Terry Schaffner, Jr., Greenwood, Missouri and one sister, Heather Hobart, Grain Valley, Missouri.
