Ruth A. Wiedenmann, 75, of Garden City, MO, died peacefully Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at her home in Garden City, surrounded by her family. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville, MO. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 15 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Crossroads Hospice or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Building Fund.
Ruth was born January 14, 1939, in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Glenworth Leroy and Helen Marie (Gillespie) Wynne. Ruth grew up in Kansas City and was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She was a 1955 graduate of Bishop Lillis High School in Kansas City. Ruth was united in marriage to Jerry Wiedenmann, September 21, 1957 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Kansas City. Ruth and Jerry lived in Kansas City before moving to Garden City 42 years ago. Ruth was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: Bill, Jack, Jim and Tom; her sister, Mary Martin; her grandson, Patrick Wiedenmann and her great grandson, Kyler Kelso.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Jerry, of the home and their children and families:

Laurie (Curtis) Norris, their children, Jason (Nicole) and their children Kobe and Kayleigh Belle; Dana (Jason) Pieratt, their children, Jakob Norris, Justin and Jonathan Pieratt; April (Brian) Minshall, their daughter, Reaghan McCarthy;
Jim (Kim) Wiedenmann, their children, Lance (Alyse) and their children, Layson and Raelyn; Mitchell (Heather) and Valerie;
John (Jane) Wiedenmann, their children, Krystal (Damon) Owen and their daughter, Khloee; Kaleb and his son, Eli;
Nancy (Jamie) Brown, her children, Kyle (Ashley) Kelso and their children, Kinna and Kolton; Kody (DaMeika) Kelso; Natalie Kelso and her daughters, Kyndall, Karleigh, and Kaitlyn Rudder; Macy (Les) Aurand and their daughters, Cassidy and Kynlee;
Jeffrey (Michelle) Wiedenmann, their children, Dustin and Jennifer.
Ruth is also survived by her sister, Martha Carter and three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Wynne, Mary Jane Wynne and Judy Martley.
