Russell Gregg Kircher, 72, Harrisonville, MO, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Harrisonville Community Church, 1606 Chapel Drive, Harrisonville, MO 64701. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, January 20 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Russell was born December 6, 1939 in Harrisonville, MO, the son of Jacob Fred and Otella Veta (Gregg) Kircher, II. He lived in the Harrisonville area all of his life and was a 1957 graduate of Harrisonville High School. He married Donna Sue Russell April 13, 1977 and together they had five children. Russell was a farmer all of his life.

He loved farming, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He was on the Board of Directors of the Central Cass Fire District, had been a member of the Harrisonville School Board and had served on the MFA Oil Board of Directors.

Russell was preceded in death by parents. He is survived by his wife, Donna, of the home; three sons, Gary Kircher and wife, Debbie, Harrisonville, MO, Jack McGraw and wife, Jamie, Archie, MO and Chris McGraw, Clinton, MO; two daughters, Brenda McGraw of Holt, MO and Dana Bohlken, Shawnee, OK; one brother, Jacob Fred Kircher, III and wife, Elaine, Higginsville, MO; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Russell will be missed by his family and friends.
