Russell Howard Long, 57, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Friday, August 24, 2012 at his home. No services are scheduled.
Russell was born October 21, 1954 in Independence, Missouri, the son of William Howard and Violet L. (Cothern) Long. He was a 1973 graduate of Harrisonville High School and a lifelong Harrisonville resident. He worked as a stone mason.
Russell was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Violet Long, East Lynne, Missouri; three brothers, Vern Long and Tim Long, both of Harrisonville, Missouri and Ricky Long, Independence, Missouri and one sister, Sharon Walsh, Archie, Missouri.
