Ruby B. Daily , 88, Peculiar, MO, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Meadow View of Harrisonville in Harrisonville, MO.  Graveside services were held Thursday, August 1, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, MO.   Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.

Ruby was born July 12, 1931 in Couch, MO, a daughter of Rufus D. and Mamie (Wheeler) Bennett.  She married Joseph Daily on September 28, 1951.  Ruby had lived in Couch, MO before moving to Kansas City, KS.  She moved to Peculiar, MO in 1967.  They raised and bred Arabian horses and owned Daily's Arabians in Peculiar.  Ruby was a founding member of the Greater Kansas City Arabian Horse Association and was an equestrian volunteer for the Heartland Therapeutic Riding Academy in Bucyrus, KS.  Ruby had worked for Western Electric and King Radio before retiring.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph.  She is survived by one son, Raymond Bennett (Robyn), Peculiar, MO; one daughter, Terri Bennett-Moyer (Thomas), Ozark, AR; one brother, David Bennett (Joan), Alton, MO; four sisters, Betty Kincaid, Eldon, MO, Genevieve VonDemfange, Raymore, MO, Isabelle Kincaid, Lake of the Ozarks, MO, and Rita Davis (Jerald), Olathe, KS; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
