Roy Lynn Rogers, 59, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at his home.  Memorial graveside services were  held  Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Oakland Cemetery, Harrisonville, under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville.

Roy was born June 12, 1960 in Muskogee, OK, a son of Barney Earl and Sarah Nettie (Carmichael) Rogers.  He was a lifelong resident of Harrisonville.  Roy had worked for Wood Specialty and Green Lamp Furniture, both in Harrisonville.  He had volunteered at the Harrisonville Shepherd's Staff Food Pantry.  Roy attended Crossroads Assembly in Harrisonville.  He was an avid WWE fan.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Earl and Ben Rogers.  He is survived by two brothers, Mike Rogers, Kansas City, KS and James Rogers, Harrisonville, MO; four sisters, Clara Rogers, Harrisonville, Grace Rogers, Lenexa, KS, Brenda Sanderson, Lee's Summit, MO, and Betty Rogers, Kansas City, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
