Rosemary Irene Graves (Workman), 77, of Adrian, MO, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Bates County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services were held Friday, June 24, 2022 at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, Missouri.
Rosemary was born November 9, 1944 to Ralph and Ruby Marie (McDowell) Workman in Butler, Missouri. Her elementary years were spent in Mingo, MO in a one room school house and later went on to earn her diploma from Adrian High School. After high school, Rosemary married Jim Hart, and together they had three sons.
Rosemary retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 20 years of service. After retirement, she moved to Alabama to enjoy time with her son, Jason, and granddaughter, Kennedy. She returned to Bates County and spent her remaining years in the company of her best friend and sister, Jean. Rosemary enjoyed Amish bakeries, thrift stores, and the Osceola Cheese Factory. She loved many things, but her greatest joy was her granddaughter, Kennedy.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby, and her father, Ralph. She is survived by her sons: Jason, Jimmy, and Jeff Hart; her sister, Jean Hastings; her granddaughter, Kennedy Hart; and many nieces and nephews.
The lives she touched is innumerable and she will be greatly missed.
