Ronni Sue Kalwei, 45, Harrisonville, MO, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 27 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, MO.


Ronni was born June 10, 1963 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Gary Albert and Carren (Tucker) Jennings. She was a graduate of Hickman Mills High School and later moved to Peculiar, MO and had lived in Harrisonville for 18 years. Ronni was an accounting clerk at Prescription Solutions in Overland Park, KS. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Harrisonville. She was a Lady Elk at Cass County Elks Lodge #2791 and an Elk at the Lee's Summit Elks Lodge #2814.

Ronni loved old country music and reminiscing about old stories. She enjoyed bowling, swimming and just laying around the pool, camping and she loved to entertain. She was always on the go. She had a big heart and never met a stranger. She was an optimist and loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Jennings, on June 4, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Tony, Harrisonville, MO; one daughter, Shea Ann Kalwei, of the home; one son, Joshua Lee Shaw, Raymore, MO; her mother, Carren McKay, Galt, MO; her stepmother, Janie Jennings, Peculiar, MO; one brother, Kelly McIntire, Cameron, MO and two sisters, Audrey Baker, Eldon, MO and Christine Torress, Blue Springs, MO.
