Ronald E. Sieker, 82, Independence, MO, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Independence Manor Care Center in Independence, MO.  Graveside services were held  Friday, June 18, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Creighton, MO.

Ronald was born October 30, 1938 in Kansas City, MO, a son of Henry William and Agatha (Girdner) Sieker.  He was a 1956 graduate of East High School in Kansas City, MO.  He had lived in Kansas City most of his life.

Ronald was a U. S. Marines veteran. He worked as a fire fighter for the Kansas City, Missouri Fire Department for 25 years before retiring in 1985.  After retiring, he worked as an over-the-road truck driver and as a contractor.  He loved to dance and play poker.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ronald Eugene Sieker, Jr., and one daughter, Sherri Sieker.  He is survived by one brother, William "Bill" Sieker, Liberty, MO and two sisters, Norma Kay Rossato, Plano, TX and Judith Ann Murphy, Lake Barrington, IL.
